ABOUT ME
Welcome to my blog! I'm originally from Watertown, SD. Following high school, I attended the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. I graduated with a major in English and minors in Education, German, and History. When I began teaching, I taught in a 7-12 building in Ivanhoe, MN. During one day I would teach 7th and 8th graders as well as 11th and 12th graders. After teaching there for a few years, I moved to Blue Earth, MN and taught at the high school in the morning and the middle school in the afternoons. I've been teaching seventh grade English and reading since I started at BVMS. In 2009, I received my M.Ed. (Master of Education) as a Reading Specialist. Some of my interests include traveling, photography, gardening, and, of course, reading.
